Neuroimaging research in obsessive-compulsive disorder and related disorders

The Psychiatric NeuroCognition Laboratory (PNClab) studies brain functioning in people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders such as Tourette's Disorder (TD). We combine neuroimaging techniques (task-based and resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging) with behavioral testing using a variety of experimental paradigms to better understand the mechanisms underlying attention, decision-making, and sensory processing in psychiatric disorders.

The PNC lab is located at the New York University School of Medicine in midtown Manhattan and the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research (NKI) in Rockland County, NY, and our studies are recruiting research participants at both sites. If you live in New York City, you can participate through the NYU site. If you live in the boroughs surrounding New York City (for example, Bergen, Rockland, Orange, and Westchester Counties), you can participate through the NKI site.
